Community Easter Sunrise Service
The Wolfsville community Easter sunrise service is hosted by five area churches on a rotating basis. The service usually begins at 6:30 a.m. The schedule is as follows:
2025 – Grossnickle Church of the Brethren
2026 – Garfield United Methodist Church
2027 – St. John’s Lutheran Church
2028 – Salem Community Church “Pavilion”, Wolfsville
2029 – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
The Wolfsville Ruritan Club usually serves refreshments following the service.
Community Vacation Bible School
The Wolfsville Community Vacation Bible School is usually hosted in July by two area churches on a rotating basis. Evening classes are held for one week, from Monday to Friday. All children from the entire community are welcome regardless of their church affiliation. The schedule is as follows:
2024 – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church (July 15 — 19, 2024)
2025 – Salem Community Church, Wolfsville
The Wolfsville Ruritan Club provides financial support for Bible School.
Community Thanksgiving Service
The Wolfsville community Thanksgiving service is hosted by six area churches on a rotating basis. The schedule is as follows:
2024 – Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church
2025 – St. John’s Lutheran Church
2026 – Garfield United Methodist Church
2027 – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
2028 – Salem Community Church, Wolfsville
2029 – Grossnickle Church of the Brethren
NOTE: The Wolfsville/Myersville CROP Hunger Walk has been discontinued. Other churches were given the opportunity to host the event, which was usually held the last Sunday in September, but none were interested.
